• nanosystec designs and manufactures customer-specific assembly station for optoelectronic and medical applications. The systems are manufactured according to the requirements of the customer. They are well suited for production and research.
  • Precise motion control systems are combined with advanced joining techniques, such as precision laser welding, micro gluing and selective laser soldering. Machine vision and optimization algorithms are the foundation for positioning with deviations of less than a micron or better. The seamless intagration into production lines facilitates automation and increases productivity.
  • Our customer are active in optoelectronics, medical technology, automotive and aerospace. We operate worldwide and support our customers with an efficient organization.

Products

  • NanoWeld is an automated Alignment and Laser Welding Station with extremely low weld shift and high positioning accuracy. It is ideally suited for the production of optoelectronic components such as single or multichannel transmitters and receivers in TO or butterfly packages.
  • NanoGlue uses precision positioning stages and UV-curable resin for the automated assembly of planar optics, such as splitters, waveguides, mdulators or Si Photonics components. Up to 12 alignment axes are used simultaneously.
  • NanoPlace positions optical components such as VCSEL, photo diodes, lenses or splitters with high precision. Positioning errors of less than 1 micron can be achieved. The attachment technology is based on gluing with UV-curable resin or laser soldering.
  • VersaWeld TLPW joins transparent plastics without additives by laser welding. The high power density at the joining interface allows a homogenuous melting. It is achieved by fosuing of the laser beam and the volumetric absoprtion.
  • NanoBalancer is ideally suited for the fine balancing of roationg parts by removal of material by laser ablation. The balancing can occur during the rotation after the measurement and therefore increases productivity. Mechanical operations such as drilling or addition of weights are not required any longer.
  • NanoRapid is a versatile lselective laser soldering station. Depending on the production volume, the handling is manual or automated. The device is positioned by motorized axes. Alternatively, a XY scanner moves the beam to the desired location. Multi-beam optics process high productions volumes, as they melt several points simultaneously - the laser soldering process is shortened by the factor corresponding to the number of points.
  • The versatile laser soldering system Rapido emits 30W to 400W optical power. The laser power can be programmed over time and these profiles can be stored. In this way, the laser power can be adapted ot the required soldering task. The Rapido can be esaily integrated into industrial systems.
  • ATLAS 40 and ATLAS 25 are vertical stages which provide 20 nm resolution and carry large loads up to 10 kg. The travel range is 25 mm or 40 mm and the maximum velocity is 10 mm/s.
  • The positioning stages SlimLine have a compact design with 31 mm height. Travel ranges are between 50 mm and 350 mm. They are acuated by a stepper motor and provide 1.5 µm resolution.
  • SlimLinePlus has the same dimensions and travel ranges, but uses higher quality components in order to achieve better linearity and higher positioning accuracy. The brushless DC motor has a smooth operation and uses an integrated optical encoder. The resolution is 0.4 µm and the reaptability below 1 µm.
  • The precision stages NanoMove use linear motors and crossed-roller bearings. A linear optical encoder provides 20 nm reoslutions. The direct position reading avoids any mistakes due to backlash or linearity errors in the lead screw and external influences due to temperature changes. The repatability is 100 nm and the absolute error over 100 mm travel is below 1 µm. The linear motor allows accelaeration up to 10 m/s² and 200 mm/s velocity.
  • The roational platform VersaPoint has a cmmon center of rotation for all 3 rotary axes which is above the mounting platform. This is of advantage if an object needs to be positioned without correction of the linear coordinates. All three axe are adjusted independently and the angular resolution is 0.0005 degrees. VersaPoint can be equipped with micrometer screws or motorized actuators.
  • The 6-axes motion controller UMC serves as general unit in which up to 6 motorized axes of any type can be combined.
